In our search for healthy and holistic alternatives, it can be hard to find truly natural bath and body products, or soap and skincare choices. Most commercially made products are filled with ingredients derived from petrochemicals, synthetic dyes and preservatives. As we are learning, what we put on our bodies is as important as what we put in them. With the skin as our largest organ, able to absorb most of what is applied to it into the bloodstream, we must be aware of the ingredients in all our body products. Ask yourself - “would I eat this?” If the answer is no, why would you put it on your skin?

Here at Moonsnail Soapworks we have been handcrafting completely natural soap and body care creations since 1995. We use only the finest ingredients nature has to offer, always uniquely and beautifully packaged for gift giving, or to treat yourself.

We use only pure essential oils and floral waters, nourishing plant oils and butters, distilled water, sea salts and seaweed, vitamins, herbs (organic where possible) and not a trace of synthetic preservative. We are proud to list all of our ingredients on our labels!

The word 'aromatherapy' is used often these days in products containing synthetic fragrances. In everything we make, you will find only the best quality essential oils, with all the therapeutic value intact. Our products are designed to relax, energize and revitalize you, and to intoxicate your senses!

We are very proud of our soap, having worked on the recipe and curing and cutting methods since 1995. We use a base of olive, coconut and palm oils to create richly lathering, moisturizing and long lasting bars. Our soaps are embellished with the addition of pure essential oils (although some are scent-free), and a wide variety of botanicals, clays and other natural ingredients. We are known for our beautiful bars, some with fanciful swirls, rich natural shades, or flecked with herbs. With over 20 varieties, we know you’ll find one that you love.
